Fortnite Chapter 7 Loki Phase 2 — Temporal Rift Rewards Guide, Heavy Shotgun Unvaulted

Loki Multiverse Phase 2 "Temporal Rift" is now live with new mythic weapon unlocks, exclusive cosmetics, and Heavy Shotgun back in the Neon City loot pool. Complete rewards guide inside.

The second phase of the Loki: Multiverse of Mayhem mini-event has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 7, bringing a host of new content to UE6-powered Neon City. Phase 2, dubbed "Temporal Rift," introduces a new set of challenges, exclusive rewards, and significant loot pool changes that are reshaping the competitive meta ahead of FNCS qualifiers.

The highlight of this phase is the TemPad Mythic — a new teleportation gadget inspired by Loki's signature technology. Unlike the standard Rift-To-Go, the TemPad allows players to mark up to three locations on the map and create personal portals, offering unprecedented rotation flexibility. The TemPad can be found in Loki-themed chests scattered across the Neon City districts, or as a reward for completing the Phase 2 questline.

The Heavy Shotgun's return to the loot pool is another major talking point. After being vaulted since Chapter 6, the pump-action powerhouse is back with updated stats optimized for Neon City's close-quarters combat. The Heavy Shotgun deals 70/74/78 base damage per shot with a tighter pellet spread than the Thunder Shotgun, making it the ideal pairing for wall-running initiates. Competitive players have already begun incorporating it into their loadouts ahead of the $5M FNCS qualifiers starting July 25.

Phase 2 rewards include:

• "Temporal Trickster" Loki skin (variant with TVA armor accents)
• TemPad back bling (animated with glitching effect)
• "Rift Walker" pickaxe (dual-wield with portal effects)
• "God of Stories" loading screen
• "Sacred Timeline" wrap (animated with time-stream effect)
• Loki-themed emotes: "Glorious Purpose" and "TVA Arrest"

The FNCS qualifier registration opens August 1 with a $5M prize pool. The Trios format returns with wall-running enabled, though Digital Duel mode is excluded from competitive rotation. The Heavy Shotgun will be available in competitive playlists, adding a new strategic layer to the wall-running meta that has defined Chapter 7's opening weeks. Grand Finals are scheduled for September 4-6.
