Infinity Ward reveals the full line-up of MW4 pre-order incentives: the exclusive Phantom Force Operator pack, a limited-run Weapon Blueprint, and special Beta rewards for early adopters.
Infinity Ward has officially unveiled the complete pre-order bonus details for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, giving players a comprehensive look at what they can earn by reserving their copy ahead of the July Beta window. The bonuses are available across all platforms, with the headline item being the exclusive "Phantom Force" Operator pack.
The Phantom Force pack includes four Operator skins inspired by Tier 1 counter-terrorism units from around the world, each with unique finishing moves, voice lines, and weapon inspection animations. Pre-ordering any edition of MW4 grants instant access to the "Shadow Squadron" Operator skin in Warzone and Modern Warfare III, allowing players to start building their collection before MW4's full launch. Additionally, the "Nightfall" Assault Rifle Blueprint comes with pre-configured attachments optimized for medium-range engagements, making it a valuable addition for Warzone players.
Beta access details: MW4's Beta runs in two phases — Early Access begins July 10 exclusively for pre-order customers across all platforms, followed by the Open Beta starting July 17. The Beta will feature six core maps, the new Gunsmith 2.0 customization system, and a preview of the "Rush" movement mechanic. Crucially, all Beta participants will earn a permanent "Beta Veteran" calling card and emblem that carries over to the full game.
Infinity Ward has also confirmed that progress made during the Beta — including weapon levels and Battle Pass tier unlocks — will carry forward into the full game launch. This represents a shift from previous Call of Duty titles, where Beta progress typically reset at launch. The decision is expected to further incentivize pre-orders and early engagement.
The full details of MW4's various editions were also confirmed. The Standard Edition ($69.99) includes the base game with cross-gen support. The Vault Edition ($99.99) adds the Phantom Force Operator pack, Season 1 Battle Pass with 50 tier skips, and early access to two post-launch Operator releases. The "Task Force 141" Collector's Edition — priced at $199.99 — includes a physical replica of Captain Price's night-vision goggles, a steelbook case, and all Vault Edition digital content.
MW4 is scheduled for a full worldwide release on October 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with cross-play and cross-progression confirmed across all platforms. Stay tuned for our comprehensive Beta preview and Gunsmith 2.0 deep dive coming soon.
